Online marketing the key for retailers to attract ‘super shoppers’

‘Super shoppers’ account for 70% of sales but are only 18% of UK shoppers. They are far more likely to shop

using smartphones and tablets and research products online.

The study, commissioned by eBay, found that two thirds of all shoppers rely on a number of tools to help them

decide on purchases worth more than £100, such as online reviews and recommendations.
