Social media is becoming an increasing popular marketing channel for small and medium-sized businesses ( SMBs ) to use to target customers, generate leads and increase sales.
Twitter has studied 1,000 people living in the US who use the website at least monthly and follow small companies to determine how effective businesses interact with their followers.
The results show the power of well managed social media marketing to communicate, interact and brand build your products and services to your followers. Indeed 73% of people said they feel more confident in an SMB after following them and reading some of their Tweets.
